- Independent performance assessment and program evaluation - objectively evaluate performance and programs, drawing upon our expertise and knowledge of the industry and best practices. We routinely provide expert testimony to various stakeholder groups when presenting findings from independent assessments.
- Claims analysis - analyze historical claim records to identify trends and benchmark performance against other workers’ compensation systems; provide opportunities for improvement in claims management, medical cost containment and rapid return to work. Identify Workers’ Compensation cost drivers and prioritize potential solutions.
- Self-administered program review and improvements - evaluate internal or third-party administration program’s quality and efficiency; assess internal safety program effectiveness and accountability; and assist in developing programs to incentivize prevention and mitigation of the human and financial impact of occupational injuries and diseases.
- Operational process assessments - identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to help organizations streamline operations through more efficient business processes.
- Strategy and planning - guide management through the process of evaluating strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in context of short-and long-term economic and industry drivers. This helps clients establish the right business strategy, gain buy-in, and achieve results.
- Information system planning, design, vendor selection, and implementation oversight - help management best leverage technology to maximize operating performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Change management - help navigate the challenges and complexities involved in implementing organizational change. We may assist in this capacity by supporting current management in implementing change or filling a temporary management role to implement change in a challenging environment.
- Independent IT assurance and testing -conduct independent assessments of technology systems, information security, and internal controls related to protecting both financial and health care information.
- Project management - provide project oversight, independent project assessments, and direct project management services to help clients most successfully implement complex projects.
- Oversight assistance - help management design, implement, and oversee various functions related to claims processing, reserve calculation and maintenance, and employee/employer education programs.
