A Principal, Michael is a member of both the Manufacturing and High Technology Industry Groups and is the Principal in Charge of Berry Dunn's Manchester office. He provides financial reporting, merger and acquisition structuring, tax strategies and financial planning, internal controls and systems development, and strategic planning services for clients in Maine and New Hampshire.
Prior to joining the Firm, Michael managed the auditing and accounting practice of the Manchester, NH office of a local accounting firm. This was preceded by five years as Director of Finance for a Vermont-based public company that specialized in renewable energy and high technology. While there Michael focused on both short and long term strategic planning, business and financial development and contract administration including government and FAR compliance. Michael also has significant experience at a Big-Five firm in Boston, MA, where he concentrated his efforts in the high technology middle market areas. Michael has SEC and international reporting experience.
He is a licensed as a CPA in New Hampshire and Vermont. He has been a speaker at various seminars on such topics as: limited liability companies, corporate structure selection, taxation, and accounting and finance.
