Michel has over 10 years of accounting experience, working for firms in Maine, Massachusetts, and Colorado. He has a strong technical background in tax preparation, with a focus on the manufacturing, real estate, and professional services industries. His hands-on experience as a business and tax advisor has allowed him to develop strong business acumen. Michel is quite familiar with the operational and financial challenges his clients face in their businesses and knows what is required for success in manufacturing and professional services industries.
Mike serves as an advisor in specialty tax areas as well, including Research & Development credit studies for qualified businesses, cost segregation studies, and tax strategies for complex entities.
Michel is a licensed CPA in both Maine and Colorado.
Prior to joining Berry Dunn, Michel managed the tax department of a 30+ employee firm located in Denver, Colorado.
Outside of work, Michel enjoys hiking, skiing, and is an avid reader. Michel currently resides in Portland, Maine with his wife and daughter.
