A manager, Laurel is a member of Berry Dunn's Management and Information Technology Consulting Group (MITG). The goal of the MITG is to help clients address a broad range of management and information technology implementation issues. Laurel is a leader in the MITG’s public sector practice group providing consulting services to government clients in the areas of project management, change management, business analysis, system implementation and independent quality management.
Laurel is a certified Professional Project Manager (PMP) with more than 15,000 hours of project management experience. She was recognized by the State of Maine, Commissioner of the Department of Administrative and Financial Services, for her management of a statewide Web-based time and attendance management system implementation project. This project was a first of its kind for the state. Laurel was also recognized by the Chair of the National Association of Medicaid Directors for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Independent Verification and Validation services provided to the State of West Virginia. Laurel joined Berry Dunn in 2000.
