John began his public accounting career in 1987 with Berry Dunn and has served as the firm’s President & Managing Principal since being appointed in 1999.
As firm leader John has overall responsibility for Berry Dunn’s strategic direction, client service satisfaction, staff growth and development and marketing. John also provides assurance and business advisory services to upper middle-market commercial enterprises. He has helped firm clients chart their way through a wide range of issues, including mergers, sales, and acquisitions, with a focus on creating value for owners and shareholders. As a Principal in the firms’ Financial Institutions Service Group, he also works on audits of savings banks and commercial banks, including SEC registered institutions.
John holds leadership positions on the Boards of several charitable and civic organizations.
