A tax Principal in the Portland office, Frank has spent over 30 years meeting the corporate and individual tax needs for clients in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, timber and wood products, real estate development, and distribution. Frank's experience includes significant work with partnerships and LLCs and their owners in structuring transactions to optimize tax benefits. In addition, he has worked with many clients that have significant multi-state tax filing obligations.
Frank has counseled hundreds of business and individual clients on the technical and non-technical issues related to income and estate tax planning, as well as business succession and valuation. Formerly a Principal with Cloudhawk Management Consultants, LLC and a tax partner with Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, he brings a broad perspective to assisting his clients in successfully developing and implementing tax savings strategies and plans for the transition of their business enterprises.
Frank is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and holds the AICPA's Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation. He works closely with Berry Dunn's Business Valuation Group to implement valuation strategies as part of his service to clients.
